Lori Gunzelman
With more than 30 years in education, I have dedicated my career to improving student achievement and creating meaningful, individualized learning experiences. Beginning as a middle school mathematics and science teacher, I have served in numerous leadership roles, including department chair, academic coach, mentor, and district leader. My work includes Kansas curriculum and assessment development, professional presentations, graduate-level teaching, and statewide education initiatives. Honors include Kansas Master Teacher, Presidential Award finalist, and the USD 385 Golden Apple Award. I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education.
Angie May
With 26 years in education, I specialize in student-centered, inquiry-driven learning that connects classroom experiences to the real world. For 20 years, I taught middle school ELA and Social Studies, designing interdisciplinary, project-based learning that develops research, communication, and student ownership. My experience includes ESOL education and coordination, curriculum development, instructional training, family engagement, and mentoring. I currently support adult English learners through ESSDACK and am founding a Wichita nonprofit focused on culturally responsive adult ESL learning.

Allison Klusener
With a background in secondary English education and school leadership, I bring extensive experience creating engaging, student-centered learning for grades 9–12. As an ELA teacher, I have developed interdisciplinary curriculum emphasizing critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and real-world connections. My experience includes literature studies, AVID instruction, curriculum development, and supporting diverse learners. With a Master’s in School Leadership and Building Leadership License, I am committed to purposeful learning that builds students’ confidence, skills, and readiness for life beyond high school.
Kim Hett
I am a 32-year veteran educator who has served as an elementary teacher, writing coach, instructional coach, and leader in launching Andover eCademy. I hold degrees from Wichita State University and Baker University, was named Kansas Master Teacher in 2017, and am an NEA Global Fellow in 2022. As Director of Khan Lab School Wichita, I champion mastery-based, personalized learning that fosters academic growth, student ownership, real-world problem-solving, and whole-child development.
